We have speech-language pathologists who provide evaluation, assessment, training, and/or treatment to individuals to maintain or improve their participation and independence in their daily activities. This service develops and trains members and their caregivers in therapeutic activities in order for the member and caregivers to be able to implement the activities throughout the member’s day.
Services include:
- Needs assessment
- Speech and swallowing training and repetitive exercises
- Use of specialized devices that help the individual to easily speak or swallow
- Language therapy to improve comprehension and expression
